About

Proof of Color is a game about how well you really see color, built on Base. Spot the right shade among close neighbors in the Daily and Free Play, recreate an exact tone on a full chart in Color Match, or let the Memory mode test what your childhood heroes actually looked like.

Scores are normalized for comparison: most modes top out at 1000, Easy at 850, and the harder Designer difficulty at 1150. Precision earns the points, quick decisions add a bonus, and a combo of clean answers makes everything count for more.

Your score stays on your device until you decide otherwise. Connect a wallet and you can record it on Base with a voluntary transaction, validated and signed by the game server so the leaderboard only ever shows results the smart contract has verified itself. Every proved score is added to your leaderboard total. The Daily gives everyone the same shades and one proved score every 24 hours, which keeps it honest.

No promises. Proving a score creates no financial value of any kind, there is no token, no reward and no allocation behind it, just your name on the board. Network fees apply to onchain transactions and your wallet always shows them before anything is sent.

The Memory mode is fan-made at heart. Its curated illustrations are cached locally for reliable play, and every character and franchise remains the property of its rightful owners.
